Every listing sits in a single ranking, whatever the industry. Categories are a filter and a label, not separate boards.

Ties favour the incumbent

Matching somebody does not pass them. You have to clear them by $1.

Nothing gets removed

Being outbid moves you down the page. Your listing, and its clicks, stay live.

5x the top bid pins you above the board for 3 hours. Nobody is hidden while it runs.
